This was supposed to be posted in Oct 2013. Didn't know I had it on draft for soooooo long. Hahahahahaha! Anyways, this is us with Habibi's colleagues. Well, most of them are from the pastry department. I think all of them are.
This restaurant is Halal, by the way. Not sure of the name of the restaurant. It's called Xinjiang Beauty. It's very easy for Muslims to find Halal food/restaurant if its from the Uyghur or Xinjiang province. Majority this kind of restaurants serves halal meat, but don't be surprised that they do serve alcohol too.
Insya'Allah, it's halal. Well, them colleagues was very sure of it when they did the reservations. May Allah protect us. Their menus are with photos and yes, are in Chinese/English. It's just that you might laugh out loud with their "direct" translation.

(It's in the building where one can see McDonalds, Dairy Queen, Pudong Food Mall, Papa John's. Enter after Dairy Queen's store. There is a door where one can see loads of biscuits, bakery, sweets vendor. Go up using the escalator. I think there is a lift but since the place looks kind of run down, it was pretty, pretty scary to use the lift. Eeeek!)
