The Story about Nasi Lemak

Ive been going on and on and on about making nasi lemak. Ever since I came to Hong Kong for the pass 1 month, the first thing that I had in mind was to make "Nasi Lemak."

And Suami even asked me to pack for him for his late night supper when his at the kitchen working. Aint that sweet. I would want to blog more, but Im a lil' bit tired and sleepy (well in actual, im just lazy) so I'll leave it to the images attached with this post. Enjoy!

Dating with Suami

I just love the idea when Suami makes plans. To do what for the day. Suami had his 2 days off last 2 weekends. So Suami decided to bring me out and introduce some of the places in Hong Kong. Mind ya, I dont really get to go out much because Suami works night shifts and when he comes home the next day, he needs his rest. Working night shifts is a bit different feel to it. I don't know how he do it, but his been doing it for the last 3-4 years. At least in KL, he works night shifts few days then off, then works morning shifts. Oh, well, Suami does his best for making fresh from the oven breakfast.

So I woke up early and meet up with Suami at Central. So decided to have breakfast. Before going to the Peak. Weather seems good, not to cold, clear and not cloudy. So we went to IFC Mall (macam KLCC la but medium size), and had breakfast at Simply Life Bakery Cafe which is my favourite place to hang in Hong Kong, walaupun pekerja mereka cam sial and sombong and poyo, but I love their concept, design, and of course FOOD & PASTRIES! So Suami bought Bagutte, Strawberry Danish, Apple Danish & his apricot tea & I had the Fusili Pasta Salad with Caramel Latte. Filling! Photo didn't reveal the danishes. Still wrapped in paper. Oh, they don't use plates. And their fork and knives are made from recycled materials. Sangat ECO GREEN. Sukaaa..!

After breakfast, Suami and I walked our way to the Peak Tram Station (which is agak the jauh la) since I wanted to be adventurous, and weather was nice. So, cant blame myself for being penat. And I thought it would be near. I mean its not THAT far, but penat sebab naik bukit. Hong Kong banyak slopes. So I hope by next year, my ass would be as tight as my Suami's. *Smack that!* Heeeee ~ K, back to the topic. You can use a bus or tram to go to the Peak Tram Station. But from the IFM Mall, its probably bout 10-15 mins walk. We took longer cause Suami lost his bearing. So wasn't sure of the direction. And so we just "follow the crowd". But don't worry, there are loads of user friendly signage.

I will continue this blog once I manage to find Suami's camera's cable to transfer more photos. My hp photos ain't that grand. Ok. Update soon. In the mean time, enjoy what you can see and read. :)

I love my food.

Oh, I need to add this. I made pancakes that day. And its blueberry pancakes. Really la, since I got nothing to do, I will cook and bake as much as I can. Sadly, we don't have an oven here. If not, I will definitely bake and bake and bake! Gosh. Ok this photo makes me so hungry now. Tomorrow. You just wait. Ill make some of you fluffs again and I'm gonna EAT ya!! Muahahahaha!!

Baby brought me to this place (can't remember the area/shopping mall) and he came across this restaurant ala Chili's/TGIF lah. And he said he used to eat at that place which is called Wild Fire, in the States. So we decided to makan there for lunch. And yes, we love the place. I notice the Hong Kee's loves "Sets". Breakfast sets, lunch sets, dinner sets. And it really way cheaper to eat sets than getting ala carte. But we cant really eat most of the sets that we see. But Wilf Fire do serves some good & tasty food. And worth it too. HK$ 98 for all you can eat starter/appetiser/dessert and of course the main course. Plus coffee/tea and to buy drinks, its 50% discount. While Suami had ala carte, which cost around HK$120-150. Sangat berbaloi kan. Recommended place to makan. Good seafood too. Mushroom Risotto dia sedap. And tasty pizza too. To those whose fortunate to eat, come to this place. There's one in SoHo. But wasn't sure which place that I went with Suami. Even got a view of the Harbour. Cantik. And agak rough romantic gitu. :P

Next, I cooked lunch the other day. And Suami wanted ayam goreng. And I wanted masak lado. So decided to cooked Ayam goreng Kunyit and Terung masak Berlado. Heee.. Wasnt that excellant, but it was my first attempt. I think it didnt taste bad, as Suami had his 2nd bowl of rice. Evidence photo below of my cooking. Bon appetit! :)

End.

Continuation...

Suami, must you snore..? K, while his snoring, Ill blog. Random thoughts, spill bill..

Shut up, orang kat atas. Memekak and you all ada gajah ke apa living with you all? Gajah wears high heels or something..?! My god. Must you hentak, and tarik kerusi tu macam angkat orang yg gemuk duduk..?! Gosh, man, I'm pissed.

Next, photos shows Suami cooked lunch that day. Ain't he sweet. He cooked Goreng Ikan Masak Pedas, Telur Dadar & Sayur Sawi Sos Tiram. Though some of the ingredients wasn't enough, but we try to make do with whatever we have to make it very Malaysian.

There was one of the days, which day, I wasn't sure, we came back from Central and we used another way to enter our flat. And I saw Raving Rabbits display! So had to take photos. I love love love the game which was introduced by my ex colleagues and will find if they have it in PS3. Their character are just to cute and weird and wacko!! hehehe! Check out me photo!

And while we were at it, we saw Pikachoo too. And everytime I see these big toys or figures, it always reminded me of my baby cousin Hafizah. She likes all this. So I took one for her. Heee.. Bapak besar ok!

With Uncle Kamal & Auntie Z's gift, both Suami & I decided to use it and bought ourself a mini mobile heater. Thank you. Now I get to sleep warmly at night in this weather. Im a happy kid. Syukran.
